The Barbados Youth Action Program, a Government affiliate under the chairmanship of member of parliament Hamilton Lashley, has scheduled performances of the two Jamaican artistes for a reggae show on March 27, 2010 at the Midway House carpark, Bay Street, The City.
Barbados' commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin is objecting to their joint performance in that country on March 27. The commissioner, said the force was concerned about the negativity associated with both entertainers.
Promoter Jack Farrell has however called on Commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin to rethink his position of giving the thumbs down to the March 27 event. Jack Farrell said, "Despite having our own security, we would still like the police to be part of security as well."
