At least four boys from a prominent Kingston High school have been held by the police after being caught red-handed in an act of aggression against a male student from a rival high school.
The incident took place in the vicinity of the Half Way Tree Transport Centre.
TVJ's cameras captured the large group of male students as they hunted down another boy and tried to stab him with a knife.
The group which was chasing the other boy down Constant Spring road, ran into police officers who were on patrol.
They did an about turn and attempted to escape in the opposite direction.
However they were chased by other police men who were in the vicinity and random pedestrians on the scene.
The students were eventually cornered on Ellesmere Road by the cops.
This latest act of high school hostility comes in the wake of reports of a violent feud between two other prominent Kingston schools.
Thursday, Ardenne High school was forced to put in place emergency measures to ward off what was reportedly a planned mass attack on its students, by students from Excelsior High School.
It is reported that students of Ardenne and Excelsior High had an altercation on Monday which prompted Excelsior students to venture to Hope Road Thursday where another scuffle ensued.
The Half-Way-Tree Police have been closely monitoring the Transport Centre and its environs to prevent any escalation of hostilities between rival schools.
