A man was shot and killed at 'Big Yard' off Manning's Hill Road in St Andrew last night.

Up to the press time the man, who was employed at a tyre shop in the community, was not identified.

The Constant Spring police who were on the scene, reported that shortly after 11 p.m., the man was approached by an armed man who had just exited a vehicle.

The gunman opened fire on the man before leaving in the waiting motor car.

Residents reportedly told the police that they noticed the vehicle in the community earlier in the day at the tyre shop.
