Later this afternoon, The Gleaner and ISSA will play host to the first of a six-week high-school tour which will be celebrating 100 years of the island's biggest sporting event at the schoolboy level, the annual Boys and Girls'Athletics Championships.
The first stop on the Champs 100 tour will be at multiple Champs winners Calabar High School on Red Hills Road, St Andrew.
People are being asked to come and enjoy great performances by popular artistes Bugle, Nickeisha Barnes and Demarco, while sound system Coppershot will provide the music.

Also track stars of both Asafa Powell's MVP and Usain Bolt's Racers track clubs are expected to be there interacting with patrons, while there will be regular updates of information outlining what's in store for the event's 100th anniversary.
Speaking on behalf of The Gleaner, Byron Buckley, the newspaper special projects editor, welcomed the move saying, "The Gleaner is pleased to spearhead the celebration of 100 years of Boys Champs in this fashion. We welcome our sponsors on board as we tour several schools."
