MediaTakeOut.com was out HEAVY at Superbowl parties in Miami and is it just us or were FIGHTS popping off everywhere. Well anyway, one jumped off right by Nelly, and he got socked in the eye.

Heres how Page Six is reporting it:

As Nelly was taking the stage at the pre-Super Bowl party attended by Jets Mark Sanchez and Braylon Edwards, "his security appeared to get into an argument with the hotel's security staff," said a source.

"Nelly got in the middle and got punched by mistake. Then it spilled out of the back door and continued outside."
