The responses of this post remind me that some members still have compassion for the victims. I was astounded by some of the negative responses on the board during our radio marathon to help raise money for the victims.
DJ Naz came on after me and said,"Why are we raising money for them? We in Jamaica hungry too?" What was really sad was how many agreed with her. Thanks Naz for your help.
I turned the radio off. I hope the other DJs helped out.
I have no problem doing a marathon again to raise money for the victims.
