A 30-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with murdering a 15 months old baby

Millie Martin, who was 15 months old, died in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday.

She had been attacked and badly beaten at a house in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, the day before.

The accused will appear at Omagh Magistrates Court charged with murder, police said.

Millie was taken with her mother Rachel to the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen on Thursday before being transfered to the Royal.

She was kept on a life support machine until members of her family arrived to say goodbye.

Her grief-stricken relatives said they were numb with pain after her death.

Senior social workers at the Western Health Trust have been helping police with their inquiries.
