The Portmore Empire is strongly denying various Internet and newspaper reports that claim that Blak Ryno and other members of the Portmore Empire have been kidnapped and held hostage by Guyanese promoters because Vybz Kartel failed to show up in that country for a performance on Saturday night.


"Blak Ryno is not even in Guyana. The members over there are Shawn Storm, Popcaan, Jahvinci, and road manager Leng. They have not been beaten, or forced to do dubplates to erase any debt as suggested by one major tabloid. They are OK and in good spirits. They will return home soon," the release said. An internet report had even suggested that Supreme Promotions CEO Isaiah Laing was in Guyana, but that is also false, one876 has learnt.
