And this is not a rumor. Michelle Williams confirmed the return to Britain Newspapers. 

Rumors began a while back, while everyone was doing their own thing. Michelle was acting and doing musicals overseas with surprisingly a lot of success. Beyonce, well, she just can't do no wrong. As for Kelly, she's just all over the place. 

The reason for the rumors was because the group apparently had a contract which they guaranteed Columbia records, one more album. 

This is what Michelle said about the reunion

Destiny's Child will apparently return to the studio when Beyonce is finished her current tour.
