It appears as though the peace process between rival camps headed by Vybz Kartel and Mavado has officially been breached. Over the past few weeks we has observed a phletoria of verbal insults being hurled back and forth by the two entertainers on some of the lastest rhythm compilations namely: Day Rave, Self Defense and Silent River.
Further investigation by our team to reveal what could have caused the fallout led us to an incident that occured a few days ago between Portmore Empire's wingman Jeffrey Hype, Mavado and members of his entourage.
According to Jeffrey Hype of Portmore Empire, "Mi deh outside a di studio gate a hold a medz an when mi look up di road mi see di black range a come. Anyways mi neva pay it nuh mind cause mi know a di singer, when it reach near, mi see it slow down and the window wind down and Chase Cross start shout a bag a tings, a call me p*ssy hole and how mi must go s*ck mi mada. After dem pass mi jump inna mi jeep and drive di opposite way and we buck up round di road. Dem start agrue and mi rush dem and dem run. Bout ten minutes later mi get a call seh dem want mi up a station, dem claim seh mi pull weapon pon dem and mi damage the singer Range".
When we asked about the accusations, Hype denied the claims, dismissing them as being false and malicious and said he never pulled any weapon nor did he touched the singer's Range Rover. This was later confirmed by the lawmen who could not find any evidence of a dent or scratch on both vehicles.
"When mi reach di station mi see the Range park up and the singer stand up beside the Police dem, so mi start walk towards dem and as mi pass him step out and tump mi inna mi mouth then di whole a di Police dem grab on pon mi and no man no touch di singer all now. Ten minutes later dem a ask mi if mi wah press charges against di singer, so mi just seh, 'No Man Everything Good!'".
"Chu di bwoy stand up beside him corrupt Police fren dem him get weh, but tell him me seh mi want a rematch cause him violate mi and it was an unfair fight. Yuh nuh hear him all sing song seh him tump mi inna mi face, so a nuh lie mi a tell" - Hype added.
Efforts by our team to reach Mavado for his take on the story proved futile but we will keep you posted as the saga unfolds.
I NEVER fail, i'm just SUCCESSFUL in finding out what doesn't work Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
