COPS ARREST SERIAL ROBBER - $650,000 worth of stolen items found at man's home

Police have arrested a man believed to be the mastermind behind several robberies in Greater Portmore, St Catherine.

The man, whose name is being withheld pending further investigations, was charged with larceny after a quantity of jewellery, liquor and appliances which he could not account for, was taken from his home.

''We believe that this man is a major player in the criminal network which goes around pretending to be a worker, and break into houses. That is what the investigations have revealed so far,'' Detective Corporal Dennis Grant told THE STAR.
