An 11-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the Bustamante Hospital for Children yesterday morning. It is alleged that he was stabbed by a 14-year-old teen.

The stabbing which took placed at the SOS Children's Village in Stony Hill, St Andrew, resulted in the death of Brandon Saddler, while the 14-year-old is in police custody.

Allegations are that the boys had a dispute which escalated into a fight. A knife was then used to stab Saddler. He was rushed to the hospital where he died.

The 14-year-old boy was held by the Constant Spring police who are investigating the matter. Both boys were ward of the children's facility.
