Man arrested for illegal gun

A man of a Coconut Crescent, Kingston 11 address was arrested by the police after he was found in possession of an illegal gun last night.

The 28-year-old man is now facing charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that about 8:30 p.m., a team of police apprehended the man at Coconut Crescent and conducted a search. A .38 Smith & Wesson revolver with four rounds of ammunition was taken from him. He was subsequently arrested.
