Since the recently implemented guidelines by the Broadcasting Commission on certain forms of material, many have heralded the actions as a new beginning for dancehall and reggae music.
Such that it would allow artistes who portray uplifting and inspirational music more airtime and force the artisans of so-called negative music to retool in order to maintain visibility.
However the bans seems have done very little to quell the ongoing feud between two of dancehall warring factions the Bounty Killer led Alliance and the Portmore Empire headed by Vybz Kartel.
Earlier today 876radio.com received an exclusive copy of a dissed track aimed at the Alliance camp namely (Bounty Killer, Mavado, Wayne Marshall and Bling Dawg) recorded by oust member Vybz Kartel.
The song entitled 'When Since' a sinister composition was produced by Kartel's own label mate Notnice and sees him taking a series of blatant swipes at his former friends turn foes.
Puzzled as to the origin of the rekindled feud 876radio.com was told by a members of the Empire camp that it was the Alliance who started it again and the song was a direct response to rivals tracks on DASECA's Sixteen Rhythm compilation.
I NEVER fail, i'm just SUCCESSFUL in finding out what doesn't work Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
