Two persons were killed, and one injured in a vehicular crash on the Martha Brae main road, Trelawny, yesterday.

Dead are Lisa Smith, 28, of Wakefield and 42-year-old Patrick Minto of Granville while injured is Calvin Nish, 28, of Green Park, Falmouth, all in the parish.

The CCN's liaison officer for Trelawny reported that about 1:15 a.m., Nish was driving a Yahama 1100 motorcycle with Smith aboard heading to Bounty Hall. On reaching a section of the road, Minto, who was riding a bicycle in the opposite direction, rode into the path of the motor cycle and was hit. All three were taken to the Falmouth Hospital where Smith and Minto were pronounced dead and Nish admitted in serious condition.

The Falmouth police are investigating.
