With his new single Good Love, dancehall crooner Wayne Marshall has been making new moves in the industry.
Marshall told THE STAR that he has been promoting the track and has been getting good responses to the song.
"Trust me, it a get a good vibration all over. The comments have been 100 per cent good and that is very rare. People have been saying how real it sounds and I appreciate it," he said.
He added that the response to the video, which features his significant other Tami Chynn, has been even better.
"I loved the outcome of the video. I wanted to do something extra instead of the cliché dancing girls, bottles and pretty cars. I know Jamaican people love the little storyline that they can follow," Marshall said about the Scorpio 21-directed video.
"People have been saying that we look cute (Tami Chynn and himself) and that we make a great couple. Everybody say they love the chemistry between us and that it is undoubtable."
marriage rumours
In the same breath, he did not confirm or deny a marriage that was rumoured to take place between them later this year. "People just tek dem story and run with it, but it's a good laugh," Marshall said.
Nonetheless, there are other things in the pipeline for Marshall. He will shoot the video for Mama Earth, which is a song about the environment. And his song She Wants To Dance will be part of the medley video for songs on the 'Beast' rhythm.
Marshall is also excited about his album which will be produced by Damian and Stephen Marley. However, some of the tracks will be done by other local producers. There is no release date for the album, but Marshall hopes it will be ready by year end.
He'll also be busy in the coming months with shows in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean.
