Kartel Drops 'Don't Run' Video



Leader of the Portmore Empire Vybz Kartel has released his latest video entitled, Don't Run (Last Man Standing), which was premiered via an internet soft launch on April 1st 2009.
The video which speaks about the infamous Sting 2008 clash last December at Jamworld, Portmore also pokes fun at his nemesis Mavado who is portrayed as a barber overcome with fear when he learns of the Teacher's arrival in town.

Throughout the video there are several scenes of actual footage from their performance which makes the gangster looks less than flattering.


The somewhat comedic project was shot by Nordia Rose of Advidco productions as the Portmore deejay tells the tales of the tape while addressing Mavado as 'Cassava Powell' an obvious parody on the world's second fastest man Asafa Powell.


The artiste whose real name is Adijah Palmer is on a path to success even in the face of heavy scrutiny by various regulatory bodies and recent run-ins with the law. He has managed to score several hits most recently the highly controversial ladies anthem, Ramping Shop, among others.
