The release of a new movie hasnt stopped Tyler Perry from keeping his eyes on future projects. "I just wrote a movie for her that I'm really excited about. I'm hoping she'll be able to do it," Perry said Wednesday.
Perry also revealed that he believes the role hes written for Hudson will help her cope with the recent tragedies shes faced. Last October, Hudsons mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason, and nephew, 7-year-old Julian King were murdered in Chicago.
"Looking and talking to [Jennifer], there's sadness in her eyes, but my thoughts and prayers are always with her," Perry added. "That's one of the reasons why I want her to do this role, because I think it'd be really cathartic for her to take it on and work through some things."
Any details on the project remained close to Perrys hip, but the playwright turned media mogul stated that Hudson has wanted to work with him for a long time.
"[Jennifer] says that she's been wanting to work with me for a very long time and I definitely want to work with her. We just have to find the right time."
