Boca Juniors coach, Carlos Ischia, responded to declarations made by River Plate striker Cristian Fabbiani, by affirming that his team win their matches because they are the best team in the country.
Ischia marked his territory after Fabbiani stated that River need "to learn from Boca, who always win with luck."
"Boca win because they are the best, without any doubt. The other day, when they consulted me after the match in Jujuy, the first thing I asked was for them to revise the match, for them to take a good look and they would find out that the team created more goal scoring opportunities, that the team had four or five one on-one-opportunities," stated Ischia.
When asked whether he thinks River should learn from Boca, the coach said: "It is not me who has to decide that. It isn't my problem, it is their problem."
Ischia then turned his attention to Saturday's Clausura Championship round 2 encounter with Newell's Old Boys at the b*m**onera.
"Newell's were already a very difficult and complicated team last season. They performed very well. It costed them a little at the end, but still with only a few rounds left they were one of the teams who had possibilities of fighting for the title."
Boca Juniors will he hoping to win their second consecutive match of the season. Last weekend they defeated Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy 2-1.
