Juventus are coming up to an important stretch of games in both league and cup competition. The Bianconeri remain seven points behind league leading Inter in the Serie A standings and their Champions League round of 16 ties against Chelsea are just around the corner.
Since arriving from Liverpool last season, Mohammed Sissoko has been a constant in the Juventus starting line-up and won over the tifosi.
"Every time they give me loads of energy," the Mali international was quoted as saying by Datasport, referring to Juventus' fan support.
However, Sissoko will miss out on this weekend's match due to injury.
"Unfortunately, I won't be there, but I hope to return for the match against Palermo," he explained. "We're in good shape, as shown by our victory last Sunday [at Catania], we must win against Sampdoria."
Sissoko is expected to resume training Monday, meaning that Christian Poulsen and Tiago Mendes are likely to forge the central midfield partnership this Sunday against the Blucerchiati.
