Former Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi thinks Jose Mourinho still has to show all his worth at Inter. Although the Portuguese coach has kept the Nerazzurri in control of the Serie A table, it will be in the Champions League where he will want to improve on his predecessor Roberto Mancini.
"Like many people, I think José is a great coach," he said. "But I am also convinced that he will be able to show his worth even more than he has done so far.
"In this period he has managed to improve a team that depended primarily on individual players. He has understood that to win in Europe, even if you have champions in your team, it's necessary to create a collective that works to succeed."
Mourinho's team have a seven-point lead over Juventus on top of the table heading into this weekend's big derby against Milan, who are eight points off the pace.
In a couple of weeks they will face Manchester United in the Champions League hoping to do better on the European stage than during Roberto Mancini's reign, when they never made it past the quarter-final stage.
