Big Ship recording artiste christened Okeefe Aarons, more popularly known as Laden has been touted by many industry insiders as the rookie acts to watch for 2009.

Since coming to the fore via Rising Star and now under the hospice of the 'Di Genius', Laden has begun to cement his name in the scribes of dancehall and is gearing up to release his debut album in the coming months.

In an exclusive interview with 876radio.com, Laden hinted at "Time to Shine" as being a possible name for the project with the album still in development the deejay has wasted no time in keeping his momentum going and recently shot the video for his hit single 'Time To Shine' now enjoying some major airtime on the local and international airwaves.

The project shot throughout the thoroughfares of the Corporate Area was directed by Michael 'Biggz Ship' Burbridge with production credits going to Nadia Stanley sees cameos from former television personality turn video vixen Candace Buchannan alongside members of the Big Ship camp.

The video premiered last night and has since been receiving rave reviews. In the coming weeks the deejay is slated to make an appearance at one of the most anticipated high school event for 2009 dubbed "RE-SIT - The Ultimate High School Social" on Friday (Jan.30th) at Chelsea Hotel alongside label mate Chino and a cadre of other local acts.
