WHO IS MARLON KING - HULL AND JAMAICAN STRIKER [KRAZILY INSANE]

Much-travelled King is spending the 2008/09 season with Hull City after completing a season-long loan from Wigan Athletic just prior to the big kick-off.

King, a talented goalscorer with Watford, only signed for Wigan in January 2008.

King had helped the Hornets gain promotion in the 2005/06 Championship season and did well in his first Premiership season, showing good pace and finishing ability.

Originally with Barnet before joining Gillingham in 2000, King wasted little time in establishing himself as the club's main striker.

His career was nearly ended after he was sent to prison in 2002 for being caught by police in a stolen BMW, but Gillingham stuck by him and he was back in the starting line-up almost as soon as he was released.

Leaving the Gills in 2003 to join Nottingham Forest, King went on loan to Leeds and then Watford, before he made the move to Vicarage Road.

In 2005/06 he finished top scorer in the League and beat former club Leeds Utd in the playoffs 3-0 to gain entry to the top flight.

However, his season in the top flight was disrupted by injury as a knee problem kept him out of action for six months. Without him, the Hornets were relegated, although his regular return to the side coincided with the club's return to form the following season.

Yet in January 2008, Watford sold their prized asset to Wigan for an undisclosed fee on a three and a half year contract.

King reportedly doubled his wages, but found first-team chances limited at the JJB such that he was happy to take up the opportunity at the KC Stadium.
