findImg.php?pic_size=200&table_name=news_img_tab&table_field=img_id&img_id=1729 Dancehall is never without controversy and even with the constant outcry for peace from some entertainers and followers, confrontation continues to rear it's ugly head and that was exactly what happen at last Saturday's staging of Flava Squad Entertainment's,  HYPE 2008 stage show held at Independence Park, Black River in St. Elizabeth.

The show which 876radio.com was in attendance boasted a controversial line-up that played out to a night filled with drama. First it was the feisty deejay Spice who decided to take a lyrical swipe at her nemesis Macka Diamond with some very nail biting lyrics before accusing her of being the recipient of a set of false teeth, much to the delight of the crowd.

In the midst of all the happenings, Macka being a true veteran in the business decided to take the moral high ground and ignored Spice when it was her turn to perform.

After performances by Serani, Vybz Kartel, Sizzla, Cobra, Lust, Monster Empire, Gyptian and veteran crooners John Holt and Ken Boothe. It was pay back time for Ninja Man regarding a statement made by Bounty Killer.

At the recently concluded Reggae Sumfest the warlord Bounty Killer had publicly declared that the Don Gorgon's son was a homosexual who ply his profession is the vicinity of Half Way Tree at a popular beauty spot where he does hair and nails.

Ninja Man fired back by saying he had evidence in the form of a sex tape that featured Bounty Killer and a white man, this brought much laughter and amusement to the large gathering. Who begged Ninja to release it so they could see the proof.

However with such strong claims being made by the veteran deejay many are just dismissing it as a hoax and saying Ninja is just rekindling the old situation where the Warlord appeared in a music video by internationally acclaimed pop group No Doubt titled 'Hey Baby' that featured one of the male band members posing in the nude.
