There is currently a bevy of inaccurate reports being circulated via the media and internet about Jamaican Dancehall superstar Sean Paul being arrested and charged for marijuana possession.
However when 876radio.com spoke to sources currently on tour with the artiste they informed us that he did have some run-ins with the law but was never arrested.
According to our international correspondent Sean and members of his team were held after they were suspected of marijuana possession at the recently concluded Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden.
However further checks revealed that after a search was conducted including sniffer dogs being sent to the entertainers hotel room, no illegal contrabands were found and all charges were dismissed.
The Smoking of marijuana is illegal in Sweden and is punishable under the laws governing that country.
Presently Sean Paul and his team are en route to Tunisia where they will make another stop on their world tour.
