Stone Love's Winston 'Wee Pow' Powell. - File

Starting this Wednesday, Stone Love, in association with Magnum Tonic Wine, will be hosting theme Wednesdays at Weddy Weddy.

Head of Stone Love, Winston 'Wee Pow' Powell, says the weekly dance will have a theme every Wednesday, starting this Wednesday, and will run until the end of August.

"It will run for the entire summer starting this Wednesday, June 11. Each week wi going to have a different theme, dress code and all. The theme for this Wednesday is 'Uptown Weddy' and Renaissance and Coppershot are the special guest selectors," Wee Pow said.

According to Wee Pow, the concept came about through Magnum, "Because they are promoting this new and exciting drink to become the number one choice in the entertainment fraternity."

He continued, "So we anticipate this summer will be full of excitement, so we just want to add some more ingredients like the guest selectors, and the Magnum Girls will be on board to mix and mingle with patrons and it will also give people who have never tasted this energy drink a chance to, because we will also be giving away Magnum to the first 100 patrons."

But the attractions will not end there, as Wee Pow also promised that there would be female wrestling and a pool party further down the road.

Weddy Weddy Wednesdays is held at Stone Love's headquarters, 41 Burlington Avenue and is held from 9 pm to 2 am.

The promoters have had to tighten up on their lock-off time due to the recent clampdown by the police.
