An altercation between a member of Sparkles' management team and Cash Money selector Scratchy B at the Islandvibes radio station at UTech threatened to turn ugly when members of one entourage ran to get a gun, but luckily, the situation was quickly defused.
Sparkles.jpg"Scratchy B was trying to sabotage Sparkles. During her interview on the radio, they asked him to play her song about five times and when he finally played it, he played it too fast, you could hardly hear the words, and then after that, he played it and took it off after about 10 to 15 seconds," Ian Money Muss, Sparkles' manager, explained to One876Entertainment.com.
"So I went to ask him: why he was speeding the artiste's song? And he came up in my face, and he boxed Sparkles' iPhone out of my hand and swing a bottle after me and tell me fi go suck mi madda, so I was forced to rough him up, mi box off his face a couple times and one of him friend dem run fi gun."
The situation threatened to spiral quickly out of control but eventually, calm was restored. Ian Muss used the occasion as an opportunity to apologise to the radio station for things getting out of hand.
"Mi really sorry that it go down like that, but they understand the circumstances. But I still apologise for whatever role I played in how it turned out. Scratchy B needs to stop fighting the female artiste, what that leave other females like D'Angel and dem to think?"
"Is just a little misunderstanding go down between them still, anno nothing big, it quash down, but me caan discuss it right now," a representative from the radio station said.
Questioned as to the reason behind the perceived animosity between her and Scratchy B, Sparkles mused:
"I don't know if it is because I booked Shampoo from his sound to play at my birthday party earlier this year, or what, but Scratchy B needs to stop trying to sabotage my career."
Sparkles went to dancer Latiesha's dance in Westchester last night where she voiced her disdain for Scratchy B's actions and got a big forward from the crowd at hand when she performed 'Pretty Kitty' on the Gully Water rhythm. She has a new c****ination single with Unicorn called 'Good Good' on the Amazon riddim by Linkz Productions.
Efforts to get a comment from Scratchy B proved futile as they did not return phone calls.
