Members of the entertainment fraternity believe that a number of acts of vandalism perpetrated against posters of Siccaturie Jah Cure Alc**ck that adorn the streets of Kingston advertising an upcoming show which will mark his release from jail shows that the tide of public opinion is turning against the singer.
A reporter observed last week that a number of Jah Cure posters had been defaced and destroyed and was informed by sources that it was done by persons unknown in the Corporate Area.
It was an isolated incident, and it only happened at one location, at the corner of Eastwood Park and Red Hills Roads, and it was quickly corrected, publicist for Danger Zone Entertainment Allison Young said.
It is not symptomatic of a larger backlash against Jah Cure. These things do happen, Danger Zone has had other events in the past where posters have been taken down.Jah Cures popularity is still high, we have had people begging us to put up the posters and boards in their yards, and people always ask us for Jah Cure pictures so I dont believe that to be true.
