how can it be a drug if it is not processed

I guess people consider the site effects of ganja to make it a drug. But it comes from a plant, when it's right you pick the buds off from it and either sell it or smoke it.. It grows naturally and you don't have to process anything or tamper it with chemicals like other drugs.
