Each time the light appears the shadows fall,
some behind your feet others on the wall,
The shadows darkness chills my heart,
yet a single ray of light rips the shadows apart,
I wonder how much energy it takes for the shadow to follow..Knowing it will never lead,
Knowing no matter how big the darkness 1 ray of light and the shadow will recede,
Lord let me always be the light...so small & bright,
Than to be even the greatest shadow as broad as a moonless light,
let the light never envy the darkness the great mass or the chill,
let the light shout...I am light from the highest hill,
One day there will be darkness and no light to guide,
On that day when I lose my light before I become a shadow...let me on gallows die..............
