Maturity........Poem

I'm mature now...I dont give a F*** what people think,

I've settled with 1 girl all the old ones I no longer link,

I'm wiser now without having any remorse,

I kept my values...no matter what else I lost,

I've learnt life lessons...like if your right hand offends,

you dont need to chop it off put on a watch & show it to a friend,

I make no excuses..I still will not compromise,

Its the same world nothing has changed just different eyes,

My view on love is its just a four letter word,

Catching it is easy...keeping it is like taming a wild bird,

I see so much anger everywhere..we all are fighting for the daily bread,

Problem is the ones who want it bad mek it get to them head,

I am happy now....Content with what I got,

I have friends in jail who have bread water & a small cot,

I have learnt the value of friends the real ones not the fakes,

I am so paranoid I sleep with my hand on a thirty Eight,

I have learnt to value family..a daughter can make a father cry,

Just as she can turn December into the heat of july,

I've learnt awww F*** it you wouldn't understand,

Mature is avoiding trouble & keeping a gun near to your hand........
