Brabus claims its modified Maybach 57 is now "the world's fastest and most exclusive ultraluxury sedan" after it set a speed mark of 205.2 mph on the Narḍ track in Italy The Maybach was equipped with Brabus' SV12 S Biturbo engine, an evolution of the Mercedes-Benz 5.5-liter V12. Brabus has hiked the displacement to 6.3 liters, fitting larger pistons, a new crankshaft with a longer stroke, new cylinder heads, special cams, larger turbochargers, more efficient intercoolers, new manifolds and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts. Output climbs from 550 to 730 horsepower. Torque peaks at 974 pound-feet but is electronically limited to 811 lb-ft.
