Jamaica remained in World Cup qualifying contention by defeating Honduras 1-0 at National Stadium on Wednesday.
Jamaica had to win to stay in touch with Group 2 leaders Honduras and Mexico in CONCACAF, and its last group match against already-eliminated Canada at home next month will be decisive.
Luton Shelton scored in the 16th minute. Receiving a pass from midfield, Shelton beat a defender and advancing goalkeeper Valladares Noele to slide the ball in from an acute angle.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce, who starred in Jamaica's win against Mexico on Saturday, again proved too tricky for Honduras with his pace.
