Deva Brat was remanded in custody once again after failing to secure bail when he appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrates' court yesterday. The deejay will have to spend another three weeks in prison before his next court date on May 26. "The policeman did not come to court but the lawyer was present and made the bail application. However, based on the statement, the Clerk of Court denied bail, but the judge wanted to allow bail, but did not because more information was needed from the policeman so a proper assessment could be made. The court may have to issue a summons to get the policeman to attend court," one source told One876Entertainment.com. Deva Bratt is facing the court to respond to charges that he had sexually assaulted a 14 year-old girl in February of this year. He is also appearing before the court on a separate carnal abuse charge, however, word on the street is that the alleged victim has not been attending court to pursue the matter.
