JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The communion tray was stolen from Yours 2 Keep Evangelistic Ministries. Pastor Jeffery Cunningham discovered that the church had been ransacked Wednesday morning. Pastor Cunningham told police he locked the church before he left on Tuesday. Officers found a splintered front door with a foot print on the outside. According to the police report, the burglar got away with a several items including instruments, cash and the communion tray. Before stealing the fire extinguisher, police say the burglar sprayed the inside of the church. Neighboring businesses say there have been other recent burglaries in the area.
