PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- A man was shot Thursday night in Putnam County while playing cards.
He's the same man who discovered the bodies of three men killed in a Palatka home over a card game in February.
Investigators say 45-year-old Freeman Turner was playing cards with other people Thursday at 101 Carole Road when an armed man kicked open the front door and rushed into the house.
The suspect shot twice, according to witnesses, and Turner was hit in the hip by one of the bullets.
He was flown to Shands Gainesville.
The gunman has not been found.
