pril 23, 2008. Who said hip hop isn't real. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that hip hop star Treach from the group Naughty By Nature may have been involved in a shoot out in Newark, NJ.
According to reports, police were called to the scene when they were told a gun battle was taking place. When they arrived, MediaTakeout.com has learned that Treach was found fleeing the scene in his truck (a Hummer) wearing a bullet proof vest!!!
Treach reportedly told police he was not involved in the shooting and no firearms were found in his vehicle. One was found, however, a few yards away. No word yet on what charges, if any will be filed against Treach.
The police do not believe that anyone was injured in the shooting.
