Harry Toddler inks ringtone deal with BaTelCo
15 Apr 2008 | by Phlex, Staff Writer
Jamaican artiste, Harry Toddler has inked a major licensing deal with Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation (BaTelCo), the telecommunications giant from The Bahamas, to sell downloads of the ringtone for his number one hit, Don't Run In in that country.
"They came here and shot a commercial with him as well to promote the ringtone. They were impressed with his voice, and the melody of his delivery, and so they signed him up to sell downloads of his music, this represents a potentially lucrative deal for the Blond Ras," Josef Bogdanovich revealed to One876Entertainment.com.
The company also inked Tony Rebel to a similar deal. BaTelCo is a major sponsor of this year's Down Sound Records produced 'Millennium Countdown' show. Recently, in conjunction with the Swiss telecommunications company Swiss Telecom PTT, BaTelCo developed a digital satellite communication system between Switzerland and The Bahamas, two of the world's prominent financial centers.
