Female dancehall deejay Macka Diamond seems to be growing from strength to strength with every passing day and is now showing why she is a veteran in the business.
The deejay who recently paused her musical career for the release of her book "Bun Him" now a best seller is once again shifting gear and heading for the big screen. In a recent television interview Macka revealed that she had always wanted to be an actress and just last week her dreams became reality when she received a phone call from Mediamix Studios execs that they had a role for her in the upcoming season of the Jamaican soap opera "Royal Palm Estate".
Macka said she was so elated by the news it almost brought her to tears, when asked about the details of her role and character she said "Mi ask dem the same question, and dem tell mi seh dem already write the script and have the role for me, so when mi guh in I guess dem will give me di details". We are going to speculate that it has something to do with "MONEY" as we can't see her doing anything without a little cash in the mix.
Since late last year Macka seems to be a frequent visitor to the entertainment spotlight some of her accolades includes winning the 'Best Dress Female Artiste' at the Teenage Choice Awards, successfully staging her Birthday party at Ranny Williams Entertainment Center, Recording a few chart topping soca song with some of the Caribbean's best. Having a best selling book "Bun Him" and recently being asked by members of the Church to offer some sex advice to women, who wanted to know how to bring back the fire in their relations.
