Dancehall artiste Beenie Man to stand trial on tax evasion charges

Coming March 25 international artiste Moses 'Beenie Man' Davis will know his fate when he will appear in court on several tax evasion charges.
In recent reports it is stated that the controversial deejay owes the country J$47-million (US$ 661, 00) in taxes.
OutAroad.com gets to understand that the King of Dancehall Beenie Man has not yet made any arrangement with the court as to how he will settle his unpaid taxes.
Beenie Man is still protesting his innocence and claimed that his former Manager of Shocking Vibes production to be held responsible for his taxes not being paid as they were the ones who also dealt with all of his other bill payments.
In October last year (2007) a warrant was issued for the arrest of Beenie Man after he failed to appear in court to answer to several tax evasion charges.

no watch nuttin di King gud, if him lose him ago jus pay dat an dun, then counter-sue, patrick roberts. but more than likely him lawyers ago get that dropped cuz dats heavily over estimated, so him might end up paying like 18 mil if him lose.
