Dear counsellor: I had a bad experience recently and I must admit that it is carelessness on my part. Two weeks ago, I visited a nightclub and I took a lap dance from one of the girls. I was also drinking heavily. I ended up having sexual intercourse with this girl. I did not use a condom and I know my behaviour was wrong. I'm now very worried that I may be infected with AIDS. I heard that the girl is a drug addict and this causes me to worry more because I heard that people who do drugs are at higher risk for contracting AIDS. Counsellor, I would like to know if there is a connection between drugs and AIDS.
