Former Digicel Rising Stars champs, One Third, now have a bonafide hit on their hands with their latest single, 'Garrison Anthem' on the Fraction Entertainment label. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TRACK
However, the group's fans may be a little perturbed at the hardcore content of the song even though it is earning forwards at a number of the dances across the country.
One Third has been spotted campaigning hard on the local dancehall circuit, putting in appearances at Weddy Weddy, Passa Passa, Dutty Fridaze and even Chi Ching Ching Tuesdays in Stony Hill. The group bussed the Amnesia nightclub during the recent Vybz Rum party with the song as well.
People like it, but are a little taken aback because of the content, but the song gets a lot of love in the dance, we are getting requests, some from as far as Japan, for copies of the song. Kurt Riley say it mash up Barbados the other day, so that is a good sign, manager Ray Alexander said.

There are plans to shoot a music video for another Fraction Entertainment single, Take My Breath Away on a one-drop reggae rhythm. Asher/Ghetto Child directed the video.
It should premiere soon on RE, HYPE and local television, Mr. Alexander said.

They have also been recruited to participate in the series of shows that the Ministry of National Security is hosting to boost violence prevention and encourage dispute resolution in economically challenged area. The group was particularly well received in the area known as 'Russia' in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland.
It was like it was the first day after they won Rising Stars, they had to be escorted from the stage to the vehicle because the young ladies were going wild, Mr. Alexander said.
The group recently appeared on the Jenny Jenny's extremely popular 'Blast Off' programme on Hitz FM, and they also appeared on Full House Friday. One Third is one of the headline acts for a Valentine's show in the Turks and Caicos on Valentine's Day on February 14th.
