A man has won nearly £60,000 betting on the weekend's football scores - thanks to his wife.
The Paddy Power customer had four of his original selections changed by his other half before he placed his bet, which correctly predicted the result of every Premier League game.
After picking up his £57,000 winnings, the charmed punter, from Kettering but who did not want to be named, said: "As a life-long Villa fan I had them down for a win at Anfield but my wife convinced me to go for a draw.
"With the Liverpool game poised at 1-1 we couldn't bare to watch anymore so for the Villa to get the last result we needed, with one of our ex-players Peter Crouch cropping up to score the crucial goal, really is the icing on the cake.
