Yes, Yes' are the words top flight deejay Munga Honourable will be uttering come next month when his highly anticipated debut album Bad From Mi Born hits the streets.
Born Damian Rhoden from Islington, St. Mary, Munga hit the dancehall scene with a forceful entrance, armed with a scorching single titled Nuh Bad Like I. The song was an unapologetic lyrical attack on several of his industry mates. Even though he fired off several insults with the best of them Munga also claims to be a conscious entertainer.
Presently signed to Don Corleone Records which is owned by producer Don Corleone, Munga is expected to release his debut album in February. According to Munga the album will be a true representation of his unique style. Which sees him showcasing his versatility from spitting hard hitting rhymes to the more slower almost sad sounding ballads.
The album is expected to do well as the entertainer seems to have a good management and marketing team in place coupled with the tremendous airplay he has been receiving. Its speculated that the distribution of the project will be handled by VP Records or In The Streets (self promoted).
The multi-tracked disc will feature works by some of Jamaicas most prominent producers such as Don Corleone, Jazzy T, ZJ Liquid just to name a few and fans can expect to hear a few exclusives as well as some of the hits we have all grown to love
