Jamaican overseas worker Alicia White died in Vail, Colorado on December 23 from heart failure, according to the Eagle County Coroner, Kara Bettis.
Bettis made the diagnosis late Friday. White, 29, was employed to the Two Elk Lodge, built on an 11,220-foot elevation in the winter resort.
Her death led to a call by Minister of Labour and Social security Pearnel Charles for all agencies finding jobs for Jamaicans overseas to be either registered with the ministry, or have their clients registered with the ministry's liaison office in Washington, DC.
