Controversial dancehall songstress Barbee has lost a lot of loyal fans from the sunshine city of Portmore because of comments she made recently on a television interview on HYPE-TV.
According to our sources the people of Portmore have not taken too kindly to comments made by Barbee recently on HYPE-TV during and interview, when she was asked about her career and somehow the subject of pets came into the equation. She said "Oh my dog's name is Sparkles", little does she know of the rising young artiste from Portmore unfortunately with the same name.
Now with that said the question is, Seeing that Barbee is NOT a Jamaican and NOT very familiar with the names and faces of Dancehall was it just a honest answer or a subliminal swipe at Sparkles (the artiste)?. Even if she honestly meant nothing by it "Sparkles" management is extremely cut up about the comment and think it was an intended diss to their artiste.
On a recent visit to the sunshine city, people in the dancehall fraternity were overhead saying "How the broad face Iguana looking gyal coulda come a Jamaica a come diss portmore artiste suh if she eva come ova yah ...a straight boo she a get just like dutty D'Angel".
We at 876radio.com would like to think it was a honest mistake, but I guess that is just a matter of opinion, however for those of you who might be wondering who is Sparkles she is a young upcoming artiste from Portmore that sings the song titled "Inna Mi Ting", We have embedded a photo from Bembe Anniversary where we last caught up with the deejay.
