Wow, you sure didn't pull any punches when it came to giving your opinions on the gay issue. Love that! Well, I have another hard question for you...well maybe it's not that hard but I still want to know your opinions on it.
This story I am about to tell you is true and it's what prompted me to throw it out to you. This guy met a woman who had HIV yet he became involved with her, married her and she had a child for him. The baby wasn't infected because science has afforded HIV Positive people with solutions to the problem of mother to child transmission.
The man soon found out that he was carrying the disease too because he did not protect himself carefully.
The woman has since died and the man is left taking care of the baby, but it's just a matter of time before he too succumbs to the disease.
Now the question I want to through out to guys is, "could you love a woman/man like that? Knowing the condition of the person, could you just blindly say to hell with it and have unprotected sex?
Then again, why bring an innocent life into a mix like that?" Yeah, if you want to take the chance and gamble with your lives, do you think it is fair to bring an innocent life into a situation like this...leaving that child as an early orphan?
Yeah, I know I am throwing a bunch of questions at you, but to tell the truth, ever since the situation came to my attention I have been pondering it, wondering why in the world would someone do that.
Yup, I can understand if you were along with the person before you found out about the AIDS situation, if you chose to stay with that person still, more power to you. But to blindly see a pit and jump...well that one takes the cake.
So my peeps, talk to me, what would you do in a situation like this, and do you think that love truly conquers all? I am gonna be reading all your comments cause to tell the truth...I am still mystified.

Bwoooyyyyyy...... love is a thing and a half, but education is another. The man shoulda know sey once u do it with someone with the disease, him a go ketch it. Yea we know sey science have its ways of not letting a child get it, but science already tell wi sey intercourse with someone who have it will mek u ketch it.
I would never put a guy through that at all. Not even if him beg mi or mi hate him. So i would never (knowingly) sleep with someone with the disease.

if the guy loved her so much and was aware of scientific options he shoulda use his seed to breed her scientifically without havin unprotected sex, and stik to tha safe sex dat way he couldalive to see his child succeed...but wha u goh do....i personally would never think of sexin an hiv positive woman, and if i did unknowingly that's considered attemted murder in my books so i would prolly attempt back and succeed

And the question should be also what if u found out u have it. Would u stop having sex or whenever u was going to have sex. Would u tell the person that you have it???? That should be part of the QUESTION...

Mi wouldn't get involve inna dat...but my ppls, unnuh educate self too..Having HIV does not means you will have AIDS. HIV develops into AIDS when it is not treated. There are millions of people living with HIV and are living happy, fulfilled lives. Mi brethens, as Frisco Kid say...Draw fi yuh rubbas! Nowadays...even if is you wifey!

Yes Jamecho don't be silly put a rubber on your willie. If you have to do that with your wife other than 4birth control???
Anyway you made a good point that showing evidence of having the HIV retrovirus does not mean that a person will develop AIDS. AIDS like Cancer and any other disease generate a lot of money in the treatment not in the cure. So it is in their best interest to generate paranoia. How they generate staggering statistics about AIDS death is whenever a person dies they check their *lo** for the presence of the HIV retrovirus. In otherwords murder victim, suicide, OD, car accident. Do they have HIV retrovirus in their *lo**? Yes....Whoops another AIDS victim. Nobody has ever conducted a serious study linking behavior and lifestyle to developing AIDS. Maybe alcohol and drug abuse contribute to a persons body developing AIDS. EG Magic Johnson HIV positive but he takes care of himself, he will probably never develop AIDS in fact the sucker might outlive us all. His wife still sleeps with him and she is not positive. Personally I still would not do it.

gud point @ ssugar lips. nyway having unprotected sex with a partner dat is positive is definalty not alright no matter hw much you love dem , even if both partners got the virus . it is still insisted dat that they use protection & consistantly. however it is really unfortunate dat in some cases partners dont disclose their hiv status to their partners coz they fear rejection .
