Ace deejays Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel earned huge forwards from an enthusiastic crowd early this morning as they brought the house down on an incident-free, well-organised West Kingston Jamboree.
The Alliance performed at about 6 a.m. and exited the stage after which Serani and Bugle did well to cheers from the audience. Fantan Mojah also went up and did one song and asked the crowd to clap to provide accompaniment for another song. However, the crowd flopped him by chanting Beenie after every clap. He quickly got the message and exited, leaving the Doctor to walk up to close the event.
He had the crowd in an immediate frenzy as he did a collection of his monster hit songs such as Back It Up, Crazy Notion, No Gal Caan Siddown Inna Mi Head. He called up Vybz Kartel who thrilled the crowd with songs like Beyonce Wine and Wine Pon You to massive forwards. At one point while he deejayed, Beenie Man tap danced to the riddim, earning cheers from the crowd. They were later joined by Deva Brat and Aidonia.
Earlier, Capleton and Queen Ifrica distinguished themselves with brilliant performances.
