Has ne1 else noticed? Or is it just me. The quality of dancehall music declining over the last year. 2-3 years ago whole riddims wuld sell off. Now its only 1-2 tune,& most riddims r wack U can count on ur 1 hand d amount of hits weve had dis yr. n 75% of dem were made by 1 man. Vado. I blame it on da riddims cumming out 2 quick & di artists losing creativity. Wen last Kartel mek a tune weh wwwwwwwwwwicked? Weh uno tink?

fo real everyday i see a new riddim being posted or someone requesting a new riddim and i've been wondering what the hell is going on. Things and time change still, i guess they are trying to keep the fans interested with different spins, but not really putting much effort into it

LOL, fi real, DJs will pick up on these things faster than us cause you are the ones that have to create a hype for the people on the dance floor. But some people (regulars) dont even listen to the riddims all that, they just listen to the words and notice whether the beat fast or slow and how to dane to it. I dont think some regular people (especially females) put emphasis on riddims. **I think, dont know much about these things**

My 2cents...mi agree wid unnu say the market saturate wid somuch riddim that u caan even keep up (even as a DJ). Dem nuh gi the masses time to enjoy a tune/riddim b4 dem release summin else next day. Some a di artists dem fi blame 2, reggae (Sizzla, Turbulance) and dancehall (Kartel, Donia, Vado). Dem nah give u time to enjoy a album b4 dem drop a next album. Man like Sizzla drop 2-4 album every year. Di man bus 12 years ago and have almost 40 album. Wha kinda deal dat? Dem nuh have nuh stamina inna di business fi mek dem tune maintain airplay like bak in da dayz like di veteran dem like Supercat, Shabba, Admiral, etc...and contemporary artists like Shaggy, Damian Marley, Sean Paul. Dem man deh mek more doalls releasing a album every two year or so keeping the masses appetite wet fi dem next release....yuh c-me!

whole riddims still sell off to me still. blue tooth and riddims like that. fact is years ago you prolly weren't online download whole riddims, and you only heard certain tunes from riddim on mixtapes. Now you have access to everything, you realize how much tunes are getting ignored in dances.
