Yo i'm from the Bahamas and I never get to catch the show but trust me when i say most of the Bahamas say Gaza. More times thats jus how Bahamian ppl stay. They wait all night for the artist to come on stage and by the time he reach on they already tired and frustrated so the forwards wont be as big. This happen nuff time over here and I play on sum shows where i even feel embar****ed for the artists because sometimes they dont get the forward they expect. Bounty actually get bottle fling at him one time ago for coming on stage late and then ah say bout his throat hurting him. Bahamian crowd is a tough crowd at times. The next thing is some of the tunes i heard in these video clips too recent for the majority of the crowd for him to get that big forward. We play sum a dem in the dance but sum a dem still growing round here. Then more times when the bands playing they tend to race up the music (which i never understood why!!) forcing the artist to have to race up their lyrics so it makes it harder for them to be understood and come off good. So those are the things i can straight up say why the crowd reacted the way they did. I don't say Gully or Gaza. I say Music!!! Bless.

Not sure about where this discussion is really heading but this has nothing to do with Kartel as an artiste but more so the tunes that he decides to perform. Most times, tunes that are big in JA never make it outside of JA and vice versa. It also has to do with the entertainment industry in a specific country-sometimes the only Kartel tunes they know are things that people living in JA consider old or lame. I have seen this happen many times and what artistes tend to do to overcome this is to consult with local djs or even promoters. In doing so they have a vivid idea of what songs may/may not be appropriate. It is what it is, he could have also just had an off day. With this said I rate both Gully and Gaza in case anyone questions my reasoning.
